provide monthly and bi-monthly gardening services in San Francisco
and Marin, and specialize in the care and culture of residential
gardens where a high level of horticultural knowledge, skill and
craftsmanship is essential.
Our Goal:
We strive to offer you a balanced and harmonious landscape where
you will be pleased with the direction and the results. We take
great pride, and work with a gardening approach that includes both
the big picture, regarding the needs of your garden, combined with
a hands-on approach.
Why focus on the big picture? By focusing on the big picture, we
are able to tailor a gardening program that achieves the desired
results of both healthy plant growth and flowering. In small gardens
sometimes growth is desirable other times it not. This is particularly
true when it comes to trees, such as Japanese Maples, which often-times
are pruned with the desire to scale them down; however, if pruned
before leafing out, the opposite occurs, and the tree responds with
more growth and size, in the coming spring and summer.
Free Garden Consultation
Before beginning with all new maintenance clients, we include a
one hour free garden assessment where we will discuss issues concerning
your garden. These include: pruning/training objectives, plant and
soil health, ways to reduce maintenance, and a custom approach
to keeping your garden healthy as well as beautiful. Following the
visit, we will either send or email you an outline of the points
of our visit, including a basic big picture approach to your property.

What Does our Monthly or Bi-Monthly Service Include?
All of the basics, as needed, including:
- Weeding
- Fertilization
- Appropriately Timed Pruning of Perennials, Shrubs and Small
Scale Trees (up to 15 feet)
- Training and Espalier
- Spring/Fall Transplanting
- Planting
- Basic Irrigation Maintenance and Repair
- Garden Clean-up
- Debris Removal
How Do We Charge?
We charge for our Time and your Materials. If you would like us
to remove garden debris, there is a fee based upon amount and/or
weight.
